Ok, so this cracks me up. Watching last night's Monday Night RAW, I raced to hit the mute button on my remote when Jillian appeared in the ring. Pretty girl, bad gimmick. Can't you just hear that first marketing meeting between WWE and Jillian? (purely fictional transcript of course)
"Hi there Jillian. Have you given any thought to what your special talent or gimmick should be on Monday Night RAW?"
"Hmmm... I can sing badly."
"Ok, that's... ummm... interesting, but what special talent do you have that we could play up in the ring?"
"I could sing badly... you know, on purpose! People love bad singers, right?"
"Yeah... right."
Then, this morning I check WWE.com and see a run-down of the Most Annoying 25 Gimmicks of All Time in sports-entertainment. And... you know this was coming... Jillian is on the list! Tragic, really. Surely there is something less cringe-inducing that Ms. Jillian could switch to. Let's hope...
